It is a monthly benefit for families with dependent children up to 21 years old. The amount depends on ISEE and ranges from €57 to €199 per child. It is applied for through INPS.
How long does parental leave last?
Parental leave is available to each working parent until the child turns 12, for a maximum total of 10 months between both parents.
Who pays inheritance tax?
Inheritance tax applies to the estate received. For spouses and children there is a €1 million exemption each. The rate is 4% on the excess.
