Step-by-step procedure

Check the requirements

You are entitled to NASpI if: you lost your job involuntarily, have at least 13 weeks of contributions in the previous 4 years and 30 working days in the previous 12 months.

Voluntary resignation does not entitle you to NASpI (except for just cause).

Log in to the INPS portal

Go to inps.it with SPID, CIE or CNS. Search for "NASpI" and click "Submit application".

Fill in the application

Enter: employer details, reason for termination, IBAN for payment, declaration of immediate availability for work (DID).

You have 68 days from the termination date. Don't wait.

Wait for the outcome

INPS responds within 30 days. The first payment arrives within 7–10 days of approval.
