Step-by-step procedure

Choose a providerThe main ones: PosteID (Poste Italiane), Aruba, TIM, InfoCert. PosteID is the easiest for online activation.

Register onlineEnter your personal details, tax code, phone number and email. Upload photos of your ID and health card.
A valid identity document is required.

Verify your identityMethods: online video recognition (immediate), bank transfer of €0.01, CIE or CNS, or in person at a counter.

Receive credentials and activateYou will receive a username, password and an app for OTP codes. Activate your account by following the email link.
Download the provider's app for OTP codes.
